Henkel Adhesives, a global leader in adhesive technology, set out to unify three major websites into one comprehensive eCommerce site to streamline the customer journey and integrate with enterprise systems worldwide. As a leading expert in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementation, Bekatec played a critical role in this transformation, serving as the Implementation Requirements Validation (IRV) team while bringing together more than 150 experts from 10 international teams. Leveraging their technical, business, and international expertise, Bekatec orchestrated the consolidation, navigating complex requirements from Henkel’s global stakeholders.

Ensuring seamless product presentation across Henkel’s brands, Bekatec’s team tackled the challenge of merging multiple web templates without disrupting the user experience. A key innovation was integrating a Product Information Management (PIM) system, automating the synchronization of thousands of products while maintaining brand autonomy for content updates. The team developed a master template scalable for deployment across over 50 countries, optimizing functionality and user experience.

Following international meetings with over 150 experts, the consolidated Henkel Adhesives website, “NEXT,” was successfully launched in 2023. The new platform’s capabilities drove Henkel to plan further expansions in adhesive markets globally, underscoring Bekatec’s role in revolutionizing Henkel’s digital presence.
