Launching the Digital Engagement and Conversion Platform

The Challenge

A leading company in the Adhesives industry approached us with an ambitious project. They wanted to improve their online presence with a Digital Engagement and Conversion Platform (DECP). This was a huge project, involving more than 150 experts from over 10 international teams, with a primary goal to launch in the United States before expanding globally.

Our Approach

Recognizing the complexity and scale of this project, our initial step was a comprehensive analysis of the client’s requirements. The DECP needed to be a fusion of web design, development, eCommerce, and customer service, all seamlessly integrated into their Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), known internally as “RAQN”. We assembled a specialized team of a project manager and front-end developers, to ensure a multifaceted approach to the project.

Design and Development

Our primary focus was on creating a scalable and adaptable Master template for DECP, suitable for deployment in over 50 countries. A critical aspect of this development was integrating innovative features to enhance functionality and user experience within the RAQN environment.

A standout feature was the integration with the Product Information Management (PIM) system. This allowed for automatic rendering of product content from the PIM into RAQN, enabling brands to manage their content independently without direct website edits. This system efficiently handled thousands of products, automating creation and management based on activation status.

Additionally, the connection to the eCommerce system empowered brands with full control over product availability, pricing, and promotions, all manageable without website modifications. These features, among others, were tailored to meet the project’s unique requirements, ensuring a seamless, functional website that exceeded the client’s expectations.

Execution and Collaboration

During the project, teams met four times in different cities worldwide. These meetings were crucial for efficient problem-solving and the development of new features, bringing together around 70 professionals from diverse backgrounds. This collaborative approach was instrumental in aligning the project with the client’s vision and addressing critical issues effectively within the RAQN system.

Outcome and Expansion

The DECP project was a resounding success, culminating in high praise from stakeholders and a significant enhancement of the client’s digital footprint. The successful launch in the United States set the stage for further expansion, with plans already underway to extend this success to at least two more countries in 2024.
