He worked as an underground coal miner for over 10 years, which provided him with a first-hand perspective on how automation technology is revolutionizing the coal industry. He then earned his degree in Audio Engineering and worked weekends for Roy Morgan Research as a door-to-door interviewer for the Gallup Poll.
