Brett began his career in various startups, where he gained invaluable experience in dynamic environments, driving innovation in web development and digital solutions. This foundation led him to a role at the University of Northern British Columbia, where he specialized in web accessibility, front-end development, user-centered design, and managing complex web ecosystems. Brett’s expertise quickly earned him leadership roles, where he developed and maintained online platforms that supported university teaching and learning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences. Following this, Brett brought his talents to Veterans Affairs Canada, contributing to improving web accessibility and optimizing digital solutions for a diverse audience, further broadening his impact across public service initiatives.

With a deep-seated passion for continuous learning, Brett stays at the forefront of web development and accessibility trends and practices, frequently experimenting with new technologies to enrich his skill set. Outside of work, Brett enjoys various outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, and snowboarding. He also shares these adventures with his wife and son and is interested in photography, cars, and home improvement.
